Lets start at the very beginning...

...a very good place to start. Loving the musical, The Sound of Music has nothing to do with this website, but I DO love Maria. Now that I think about it, perhaps it was seeing that musical 7 times in the theatre when I was 7 years old and watching it at least once a year since then has had an impact on me.

Maria was a free spirit, non conventional and creative and I try to live my life the same way. Perhaps she had more of an influence than originally thought, when I started writing this blog entry.

This website will showcase my art-the art that since the age of 2 (?) I have been compelled to create. From the time I drew brides in my sisters 1959 wedding album until now painting women being progressive and beautiful at the same time. My process is always one of a story, told through layers and texture. I love history and will most likely include something in the piece that will tie that in as well.
